What a fun Easter! We headed out Saturday morning after Logan got to New Richmond. He slept most of the way and was ready for a fun time at Grandma and Grandpas. We had lunch (he like the potato salad mostly...) but Grandma had a great lunch for us. Then it was time to find eggs. Logan caught on quickly that there were Matchbox cars inside his eggs, so he was all about finding them! He got some waaay cool cars, and some neat John Deere tractors too. Then it was on to the Easter Basket-which had sandbox toys and more cars in it. He spotted in the dryer with a little help.
Logan is really starting to talk more. Da da da da is pretty common to here. He also says yes, no, thank you, and some foods-banana, apple, etc. He knows what he wants to say, and is getting better every time I see him. He knows what you're saying for the most part, and is pretty good at answering yes or no.
Peeking inside an egg with Grandpa. He sort of started to say Grandpa this weekend. It came out more like 'wampa' but it was close!
Tada! The basket! YES!
I think Jen looks more excited than Logan about what was in this egg-it was probably snacks-Jen's favorite thing...

Logan's favorite thing in the world these days besides trucks are stairs. He loves going up and down, up and down. He knows he needs to hang on to someone's hand and use the railing-so that's good. He also loved to say 'woah' each time he took a step. So cute.

Then the adults had to find their eggs-I won. Jen thinks I cheated (I didn't...) we got candy and sunflower seeds to plant in the yard. FUN!

There's the basket with Sandbox toys. That will get used for sure!
Helping daddy open a present from Logan. Thanks for the cute decoration Logan!
We went for a walk outside. Logan loved it! So fun. He was a little (a lot) scared of the four wheeler. Much for fun to look at it for now. In time, buddy, you'll be riding it in no time!
Walking in the field by the house.
Swinging with Dad and Grandpa.
More playing with the toys. Grandma also found a hat that I wore when I was younger. He loved it and it fit perfectly!
Coloring Easeter Eggs was hilarious! Check out the video below this. He would literally 'throw' them into the cups. His onesie was multi-colored when we got done with it. Some day he'll understand the concept of a breakable, hard, outer shell. Someday, someday!
On Sunday we went to the Grambort's for brunch and another Easter Egg hunt. We had church as 9 with The Ried's, The Coniglio's, the Grambort's, Grandma and Grandpa, and Grandma Dorie played the piano and organ. It was fun. Then off to the Grambort's before the drive home. He had to find 15 eggs, an Easter basket, and play with Peyton. Big day! OH, and we also went for a ride in the wagon behind the lawnmower. He wasn't too sure at first, but warmed up to it later on. The camera died, so no pictures of that. =(
