Friday night Jen and I went to the Twins Brewers game-that was the start of it-they lost by 11! Jeesh! Still a fun night thought. We turned around a short 7 hours later to pick up Logan to head up to the cabin.
So we found some fun toys INSIDE to play with. OH well, at least we could look at the lake.
We did venture down by the water eventually when it warmed up. It got kind of sticky out. For some reason, a lot of the pictures have Logan with his fingers in his mouth-we don't let him, but it looks like we allow it based on the pictures! Get those things outta there Bud!
Auntie Abbey was Logan's favorite pal this weekend!!!!! Here they are warming up to the idea of a dock...
The sunglasses that we HAD to make sure we packed-didn't even need the darn things!
A boat ride. Logan loved it-HA!

His typical outfit these days....

Someone realllllllly wanted to nap when we got there, and this was Logan-right in her face and staring her down just to check. Needless to say-no nappy for Jen!

The neighbors let us use the "weeeeee" as Logan called it. He loved the swingset. Guess we'll be getting one...

Logan slept from 8pm to 7:30 on Sunday. It was great!!! We were up kinda late around the campfire, and thought for sure Dad would be up with the birds with him, but nope! He slept just great!

Then there was Sunday morning-sorry Beast-you had a long weekend-but luckily Brett's parents came to the rescue. This would be the look of Daddy-trying not to be upset!

Jen and Abs took Logan for a nice walk when Dad was busy swearing at life about his vehicle. We just didn't want Logan to fall asleep so he would rest on the ride home!

He started to say 'booa" for boat!!!! yay!!!

We won't talk about the Jeep ride with the boat...ummmm, that was an up north only little fun adventure. =)

Logan was pretty sure he was going to drive.

Playing in the 'sandbox' down by the water!
This was one of our favorite things on Sunday! We found sand in every crevice possible! HA!

hangin out up in the loft. Of course-there were stairs!!!

Logan wants Abbey's Jeep. He really liked it. FUN! who doesn't!

Debating sticking his toes in the water....not a chance! Brrrr...
Wellll....maybe......hmm........

Let's stick to throwing rocks in instead-seems much more safe.

On the ride home, we started to get really really excited for Jamaica-this was Logan's way of getting excited for us-putting flowers on his head! HA HA! what a goofball!!!!! It became his favorite 'toy' in no time. OH, and thanks Arby's for having a book in your Kid's Meal that entertained him on our last stretch. He ate almost a whole jr. roast beef, some fries, and milk. our first 'fast food' excursion, but not really by choice. Whoops, we were running late!
He smiled more than anyone on the way home-I think he was excited to think about our trip to Jamaica and the thought that he got to see Grandma and Grandpa. He didn't care why (or that Daddy's car didn't start, or that they had to get a trailer...blah blah blah...) he could have cared less! Good for him! oh, to be two again... =)
